At Redeemer Christian, we are dedicated to supporting all elementary learners inside and outside the classroom in order to ensure each child experiences meaningful academic growth and develops a lifelong love of learning.

In-class excellence and differentiated instruction

Within the general education setting, classroom teachers tailor lessons to meet a wide range of needs. Students who require additional help in core subjects receive scaffolded support, whether through modified instruction, extra practice activities, or flexible grouping within the classroom. Classroom Assistants and Intervention Support Staff “push in” to collaborate closely with the teacher, providing extra reinforcement for students who would benefit from more hands‑on instruction as part of the regular classroom experience.

Targeted intervention and small-group focus

When students need concentrated support in mathematics or English language arts, our model provides “pull‑out” intervention groups. These small, targeted group sessions, led by experienced educators, focus on specific skills for early intervention such as decoding, reading comprehension, number sense, fluency, or problem solving. By concentrating on high‑impact strategies in a focused environment, we help students reinforce skills and make measurable progress.

Enrichment and higher‑level thinking

For students who are demonstrating strengths above grade level, we embed advanced learning opportunities directly within the classroom. Through project‑based learning, open‑ended investigations, and experiential activities, students engage in synthesis, analysis, creativity, and hands‑on construction of knowledge. These experiences are designed to deepen understanding, spark curiosity, and stretch thinking beyond the standard curriculum.

Support beyond school hours

Families seeking extra academic support outside of school hours can connect with our Director of Student Support, who assists in identifying qualified tutors either within Redeemer Christian’s community or through tutoring centers in the local area. This ensures that when a student wants or needs additional guidance, help is available and accessible.
