As we approach goal setting conferences, I am looking forward to welcoming you to campus. It is always a joy to celebrate the growth we have seen in our students and to partner with you in their learning. Conferences are a meaningful opportunity to highlight the goals that have been achieved and share our plans for moving forward as we guide students in their pursuit of Godly wisdom, Christ-like character, and love for one another.

Dear RCS Kent View Families,
This week our school is focusing on Humility. One very humble leader I know is Pastor Freddie. We are so thankful for Pastor Freddie and the vibrant role he plays in the life of our school. Each Tuesday, he leads our chapel in a way that brings both truth and grace, helping guide our students closer to God through meaningful and engaging messages. His heart for our students is evident, and we are blessed by the way he pours into them week after week. Pastor Freddie also faithfully leads our teachers in devotions on Tuesday mornings, encouraging and strengthening our staff in their faith as they serve our students. We truly love and appreciate Pastor Freddie and the joy, wisdom, and spiritual leadership he brings to our community. Be sure to say hi and give him a high five on Tuesday morning before chapel!

Purpose Week| March 30th -April 3th:
Our God is a sending God, and during this special week students will step outside the classroom to serve others, share Christ’s love, and grow through hands-on ministry.
This year, students may participate in one of three options:
- Costa Rica – March 22–April 2
Students will partner with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in the Guanacaste region, serving through children’s and youth programs, community service projects, and Bible distribution. - Los Angeles
Students will work alongside The Dream Center to serve families in need through food and Bible distribution, as well as children’s programs. - Local Service Teams
Students will serve with local ministries such as Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, Tacoma Rescue Mission, Vine Maple Place, Maple Valley Food Bank, Food Lifeline, Gateway Medical Alliance, and Black Diamond Camps. Local teams will follow normal pick-up and drop-off times at the Black Diamond Campus Monday through Thursday, with no school on Friday during that week.

Dear RCS Kent View Families,
We had a wonderful time celebrating Reading Day on Tuesday! We were excited to welcome two Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders to our campus. They read The Big Cheese, a story about humility, competition, and personal growth. The message reminded us that while winning can be exciting, joy can also come from celebrating the accomplishments of others.
It was especially meaningful to have them join us for worship. They shared how deeply they were moved by the words of the songs and by the strength and confidence of our students as they proclaimed truth. What a special opportunity it was, not only to host them, but to share how God works in every situation and in every heart.
